The Oracle Exadata Storage Server X8-2 is an enterprise-class, two rack unit (2U) server that is available in three configurations: Extreme Flash (EF), High Capacity (HC), and Extended (XT). Each configuration uses the same server but is provisioned differently, as described in the following table.

The system does work and I have no issues at all, but its annoying to have a fault indication for no apparent reason.

Sensor 1 of the Internal storage device on SCSI port 1 of the Compaq Smart Array Controller (in slot 2) is reporting the internal temperature has exceeded the preset limit. The controller may attempt to shut down power to the storage device and/or spin down the installed hard disk drives.
